Help – I need a quote in a hurry!

We know the highs and lows of event planning and have the war stories to boot.

How about that time we got a speeding ticket driving to the Vancouver Airport, on a Saturday, so we could get our customers’ event schwag to them on time? It’s true!

Check out our free report for meeting planners “Smooth Sailing for your events” or fill out our “Help us find our event stuff!” form.

Case Studies

We invite you to view a couple of case studies for some of the events we have worked on.

Victoria Hospice Swimathon

Victoria HospiceThe Victoria Hospice Society is located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. They hold two events yearly to raise funds for their operating budget. They came to us with a challenge: “give us something different!”. After a couple years of the typical fleece vest, sports bags and average incentive prize fair, “The Idea Guy” revamped their program. He saved them a couple thousand on imprinted towels and created a special “Swimathon” Flip Flop in snazzy colors.

Flip FlopsPeople are still talking about it and the 2005 Swimathon raised the most money yet. The best part is, the customer never had to leave her office to work with us. Ultimate Promotions is proud to sponsor this event, and others who help our communities.

Test of Metal

Test of MetalIf you ride a mountain bike in the province of BC, chances are you have heard of the “Test of Metal”. A greulling 67km race course that brings pro and amateur riders from miles around. The funny part is, they don’t offer much for prizes except for bragging rights. (Vancouver Canucks Trevor Linden  and Pro Rider Alison Sydor rode in 2005!) 800 people ride in the race but it also brings it’s fair share of spectators and partyers for the weekend bike festival. Test of Metal T-shirtThe organizers can leverage that attendance with merchandise and help fund other races for youth and continually enhance Squamish’s legengary trail network.

They use imprinted Cow bells, skimpy logo thongs, cool hats, jerseys and even legendary “anvil” logo keychains. Of course we provide the t-shirts and great volunteer gifts for them as well.

Smart Brands

Test of MetalAn upstart in the cosmetic industry, Smart Brands called with a challenge. They were going to Chicago in 7 days and needed something to help them make their mark at a conference. Within a couple hours “The Idea Guy” had a suggestion for a black tote bag with hot pink imprint, art proofs and pricing in the customers email box. The order was approved within 24 hours and the bags were supplied state-side to minimize shipping costs and logistics challenges.

This is the power of our Advertising Specialties Institute membership. We can source suppliers from any city in North America and with our searchable database of 15,000 suppliers, do it darn fast.

Williams Lake and District Credit Union

With the summer tournament and fundraising season coming up, the Williams Lake & District Credit Union branch in 100 Mile House was looking to give something different away to support community events. Traditionally they had used gift baskets, art and gift certificates. The Idea guy stepped in with a suggestion of an imprinted fondue set and garden stool and tool combo.

These products are sure to fetch top dollar at silent auctions and be appreciated by golfers.
