Can you send me 100 widgets for my event tomorrow?
We don't carry an inventory of our products. Our industry consists of distributors who in turn purchase from suppliers. Everything is made to order. Overnight orders cannot be filled.
I'm looking at the BF-109 on your web site. How much is it?
We subscribe to an industry-leading shopping site with over 20,000 suppliers. Consequently, we are not familiar with every company and every product. We are happy to look it up for you while on the phone, or email info to you if a rep is not immediately available to assist you. The best way to get pricing information quickly using the online catalog is to click on the product and follow the "quick request" link. This will email us details about the supplier so we can answer your question more efficiently.
Can you send me a catalog?
Paper catalogs are quickly going the way of the 8-track tape. With over 20,000 suppliers we'd rather work with you to find the perfect product rather than send out paper products that end up as just more dead trees in a landfill! We do have a few select catalogs we send upon request, but even those can also be found online. We specialize in service. Let us show you why superior product knowledge and customer contact are so much better than flipping through a catalog. Can I get a sample?
Sample requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Typically we like a commitment to purchase. We will provide a sample once we have issued and you have approved a quote that exceeds $500. Our minimum order policy is $300 and sample requests for orders under $500 will be billed at cost. We offer a $50 sample allowance for each customer. This cost includes shipping. If your company has a Fedex or UPS account, we can ship using your account, as a way to maximize your sample allowance. Please keep in mind each sample also costs us shipping. Even a pen costs us $50 to ship to you in most cases. Our suppliers do not use the postal service under any circumstances.
I found a ceramic coffee cup for $0.89 on your web site. Why are you quoting me $4.75 for a similar mug?
Our supplier database has companies from all over North America. Most products that are super-cheap become expensive once you calculate and add the shipping, duty and taxes. For example, if you are in Vancouver, BC and found a mug for $0.89, chances are it is coming from Florida or Toronto. But, cups are heavy and it will cost $400-700 to ship them. There’s no real savings in the long run and it increases the chance of breakage in transit.
We also try to work with suppliers who have a high rating by our peers and provide a quality product. Who wants a ceramic mug where the imprint washes off in 6 months? That makes everyone look bad. We make every effort to find suppliers that are close to you and offer the best price possible.
What do you consider a "rush order"?
Your order is classified as a "rush order" when it is required in 7 working days or less. Weekends do not count as a working day. If today is Friday July 5th, and your event is Wednesday, July 10th, that would mean you are giving us 2 WORKING days to complete your order. This is most definitely a rush order! Our suppliers sometimes have longer time frames for rush orders. In that situation, you will be notified if it differs from our rush order policy.
I'm with a non-profit, do you offer a non-profit discount?
About 20% of our customers are non-profits, service clubs, NGO's, or advocacy groups. We do offer discounts to our most loyal customers; those who are pleasant to work with, pay their bills on time, and demonstrate loyalty invariably receive discounts. There is no set rate of discount for non-profits, but we hope you will read our testimonials page – and see how many satisfied non-profit customers we have. We do compete on price where we can, but more often than not, people choose us because we are fun to work with and get the job done. We can’t offer discounts on rush orders.
I've never bought promotional products before. What do I do?
Our industry is set up in a very unique way. Typically a distributor (us) will sell products sourced from thousands of suppliers. Our web site has lots of pictures, but not much pricing. That's because it's impossible to stay up to date and to cater to everyone's needs and location. So often you will contact us and we might send you to our supplier's web site to view product info. Note that even though you are looking at another companies' web site, you still purchase from us. The supplier won't sell to you directly. The best way for newbies to find promotional products is to give us a call. Our sales team is not only good looking and funny… they know their stuff. They will happily save you hours of frustration trying to figure out our convoluted business!
How to use this web site
There are three ways to use this web site:
- Visit the "Search Products" link in the "All Products" menu to see what we offer. This is a 3rd party shopping engine allowing you to search for products by category, style, color, or place of manufacture. If you see something you like, click on the product picture, You will see a link that says "quick request". Follow the link and fill out the form. It will be emailed right to us, so we can see what you are looking for. Keep in mind we may substitute a similar product, because of your location, or due to quality concerns with the supplier you identified. Also, remember we do not have inventory of any product and we purchase from a large supplier pool.
- View the various sections of our web site to find out more about the products we offer. We specialize in the items featured on the home page. Many of the sections have specific forms you can fill in, so we can help you find what you need and develop a quote.
