FIS World Cup Banners

This week, we delivered a bunch of beautiful banners for an FIS World Cup event at the Whislter Olypmic Park in the Callaghan Valley. These very unique banners were commissioned by Cultural Chair Krisztina Egyed of VANOC and the art was provided by artist Rick Harry. Once the art was completed the backgrounds were laid out by reknowned local graphic designer, Susan Butler from Brand Central Design.

As a graphic design nut, I'm continually blown away by the 'look' that is being created during the lead up to the games next year.

This photo shown here is one of 4 designed. This image was also made into a temprorary tattoo and will be given out to spectators during the event.

Jamiacan Boblsled Shirts and pins

Ultimate Promotions has a long relationship with the Spirit of BC Committee in Pemberton who organizes "Winterfest". This year in addition to organizing the famous festival, they will play host to the Jamaican Bobsled Team. The Jamaicans are training at the nearby Whistler Sliding centre in addition to Calgary. The local community and Winterfest Organizers sent a delegation to the Vancouver International Airport to meet the team on Saturday, December 13th. The team will stay in the area for almost 2 months.

We helped Winterfest Chair Michelle Murray and fellow board member Peter Vandenburg commision a unique design for a T-shirt and a lapel pin. 50% of the profits will go towards the team.

Squamish artist Laurel Terlesky was chosen to come up with a compelling design that captured the excitement of this event and create some excitement for 2010. Mission accomplished!
